Matthew Thacker

Matthew Thacker, born and raised in Elyria, Oh. Now lives in Clinchco Va. Matt has played bass with Ernie for 9 years now. He is one of the most respected bassists in the business. He plays electric on the stage, but what most people don't know is that he is also a great bass fiddle player as well. He chooses to play electric.

Matt is also a very talented song writer as well, Writing several of the songs on his up and coming solo project. Matt has a very open mind in music, He enjoys all styles and loves to show this in RT23 stage shows. He helps with all the arrangements on recordings and live shows. One of his biggest influences is the legendary John Lennon, and the Beatles, You can hear this in his writing, and in his style of playing. Matthew is the backbone of the RT23 sound, and has a very huge role in the whole band.
